24 April 2008 . PRESS RELEASELOCAL DEVELOPER HELPS 2nd WYLDE GREEN SCOUT GROUP
Local developer Manor Park Homes has spread a little cheer by donating £250 to the local 2nd Wylde Green scout group.
The donation will help towards repair costs to the scout group’s Headquarters which is over 50 years old and requires a new roof and major refurbishment.
Alan Underwood, retiring Group Scout Leader is thrilled with the donation. He comments: “We are overjoyed with the kind gesture from Jason Cooper of Manor Park Homes! We have been working hard to get the repair money together and any donation is very gratefully received. It is lovely to see local businesses getting involved in their community.”
Manor Park Homes has been involved in a number of recent donations in the local community including a £250 and hamper to St Nicholas’ School in Boldmere before Christmas.
